Modamas Inc. was founded by a transplanted New Englander, bringing with him more than ten years of painting and painting management experience. The Bay Region's outstanding architecture, plentiful Victorians, accommodating climate, and perhaps most importantly, its residents' appreciation of the highest quality craftsmanship, provided fertile ground for what would become one of San Francisco's most well-known painting companies: Modamas.

Several years and thousands of satisfied customers later, Modamas remains a mid-sized company exclusively serving the city of San Francisco. Our goal remains clear: to provide informed consultation and beautiful long-lasting finishes to residential and commercial clients, and to encourage a positive and supportive working environment for our craftsmen.
